Maturing plants (and another refresh)

Image
Refresh So I've settled in a a routine. To reiterate, on top of the documented process, I have added cleaning the system with dilute sprayed h202 and a 2 inch round brush.  This was recommended by users on facebook to avoid a deep clean in 6 months and only adds 15 minutes.  (The number of groups has grown as individuals have started thier own groups. oy.) I use an old toothbrush to get hard to reach corners and fish roots and stuff out. It's also good for the occasional seepage at joints. The hanging shoe holder seemed silly when my plants were tiny. However it makes lots of sense now. My doors are too tall for me, so it is over the shower bar. Since it is not against a solid surface, putting big heavy plants at the top is more stable. It only has 24 slots, so things like harvested kale share slots. I've backed away from the GSE since it does not make an obvious diffence to my plants and it makes it  a little more to clean. I view this as my gardyn giving back.  (Usually I try to coordinate with the tank being low. So I have been just adding two gallons even though it has been low all week. This morning it read 40% but now it reads 30%. I think that is the notification threshold.   Yes, indeed.) One day this week I had to get up *early*. It was very wierd not having gardyn lighting my house from the entryway. It did make me question what happens when daylight savings hits in a week. Allegedly the system will take its time from my phone, which will automatically adjust. In theory the plants will not be bothered by...
