sweet pepper highs and lows; d'iver bolted ...

 This week the sweet pepper is the star with flowers that need pollinating and new fruits popping up. Kelby sent me a notification about removing leaves that do not look healthy. Once again it is a generic message which may or may not have anything to do with anything. Turns out there are a few mint leaves crowded at the base that got removed when I pruned the top off the plant and discovered buds. The thing that has me worried is the spots on the above mentioned sweet pepper leaves. If rubbed, some small crumbes fall off the bottom. So far neither customer support nor the user groups have been helpful. I see reference to edema and using a fan to increase circulation. Already got a fan running. I am not eager to take it up a level as it gets louder. Got a social phone call this morning. My gardyn was asked about, so I had to go over and take a look. again (I ate a cherry tomatoe before taking my car in for maintenance earlier today. I nibbled on a butterhead lettuce after the call....

Thinning This picture is a few days old, when these sprouts had only cotyledons:  Red Amarynth ,  butterhead,  buttercrunch, and  breen (forgot to update breen in the spreadsheet).  Replaced:  an empty pod (earlier arugula?),   bolted arugula,  buttercrunch (accidentally left two and the bolted one after the other), and  cilantro (see bolting below). The flashy trout still has not germinated - two more weeks before asking for a credit. I probably should have put the strawberry in too. It is so tiny. I guess the mint was too.  Hmm where to put it? In the future, I should plan time to soak the empty pods in vinegar before putting them back into use. Some had a bit of discoloration even after h202 and a toothbrush. The cubes cleaned up fairly well. Do I want to bake the stonewool to sanitize? Clearly I bought some stonewool cubes. Also my membership seems to be bringing in cubes faster than I am using them.
