Plant of the Day? borage, ... peas

For the most part I have used this blog when I have something "big enough" to write about. There have been lots of quick posts to Facebook with the little things: Planting something for the first time (maybe only in this system). Plants germinating, flowering, fruiting, harvestable, recipes...   even there I feel like I am behind by at least two topics. Clearly I got out of the habit of looking at it every morning this summer, but have not resumed it. Got thru the deep clean, and, fingers crossed, everything is working. I am thinking I should give it (gasp) a hard prune (no, not that). Borage This is totally a new plant for me. Like the calendula there are some reports saying it shouldn't be eaten, and yet I have recipes . My doctor said he did not know. At first it produced a fairly long stalk with a cluster of buds that opened over a span of time. Moved to the top to reduce blocking light from other plants   Purple. :) . It is furry or spiky.  Not sure I like ...
